The specification world has been Hugo's destiny, even though it is a recent addition to his professional life. Much of his career developed in the security industry, where he grew from "boots on the ground", to operations manager, to account manager for one of the largest financial institutions in the United States. A number of reasons guided him in a new direction towards the AEC industry, including his specifier wife. Through her natural craving for continuous learning as a spec writer, influencing depth of thinking in their homeschooled children, and applying it to life experiences - Hugo began to understand the rhythm and flow of knowledge and how it is organized. Project coordination was a perfect fit in this next step of his career path.
